Photography is an incredible medium with a broad spectrum, from documentary to fine art.
My own photographic work is inspired by the beauty and power of nature. For me it is about the emotion and feeling of the moment and trying to convey the awe and essence of what I feel to the viewer.
However, many other photographers document humanity, providing a window on the World, showing us what is going on in it, bad or good. I know several Photographers who are in Ukraine at this moment.
Their job is to reveal the truth of the horrors, the hunger, the brutality and suffering that Ukrainians are enduring at the hands of their oppressors. I pray that they stay safe, and I pray for every man, woman and child of Ukraine who need our support and help.
Photography has the power to inform, educate and entertain us but it can also unite us, as it has here.
